Frequently asked questions

FAQ - QWLC

What is the difference between QWL and QWLC?
QWLC (quality of work life and working conditions) replaced QWL since the French national inter-professional agreement of December 9, 2020. It places greater emphasis on actual working conditions (workload, schedules, tools, management) rather than solely on peripheral services (gym, fruits, etc.).
Is QWLC mandatory for my company?
The obligation to prevent occupational risks (including psychosocial risks) via the DUERP applies to all companies. Negotiating a QWLC agreement is mandatory in companies with 50+ employees with union representatives. Regardless of your size, a structured approach is a proven performance driver.
How much does a complete QWLC initiative cost?
Starting from €5,000 for a QWL assessment + action plan for an SME. From €10,000 to €25,000 for comprehensive support over 12 months including social barometer, workshops, manager training, and follow-up. Detailed quote after a free initial meeting.
How long does a QWLC initiative take?
The initial assessment takes 3 to 4 weeks (survey + interviews + analysis). The action plan deployment spans 6 to 12 months depending on ambition. We recommend a multi-year approach (3 years) for lasting results.
How to concretely measure the results?
Through quantitative indicators (absenteeism rate, turnover, workplace accidents, sick leave) and qualitative ones (eNPS, social barometer satisfaction score). We set these indicators at the start and measure them at 6 and 12 months.
Do you support QWLC agreement negotiation?
Yes, we support the entire process: data preparation, facilitation of negotiation meetings, drafting of the agreement proposal, through to signing and filing with the administration. Our labor law expertise ensures a compliant and ambitious agreement.
