Frequently asked questions

FAQ - CSE Elections

When should CSE elections be organized?
Elections must be organized every 4 years (unless an agreement sets a different duration of 2 or 3 years). The invitation to trade unions must be sent at least 2 months before the first round. We help you calculate deadlines and manage the complete calendar.
Is the CSE mandatory in my company?
Yes, setting up a CSE is mandatory in all companies with at least 11 employees for 12 consecutive months. Failing to organize elections can result in a criminal offense of obstruction of works council operations. We ensure full compliance of the process.
How much does CSE election support cost?
Starting from €2,500 for an SME with fewer than 50 employees with a single college and one round. From €5,000 to €10,000 for a mid-size company with multiple colleges, unions, and two rounds. Detailed quote after analyzing your situation.
Can you set up electronic voting?
Yes, in partnership with CNIL-certified electronic voting providers. Electronic voting is possible if a company or group agreement authorizes it. We handle the entire process: choosing the provider, configuring the vote, testing, and monitoring.
What happens if there are no candidates?
If no candidates come forward after two invitations to trade unions, a no-candidate official report is drawn up and transmitted to DREETS. This report is valid for 4 years. We secure this procedure to prevent any subsequent challenge.
How to handle an electoral dispute?
We analyze the risk upstream to avoid it. In case of dispute despite everything, we support you in preparing the case and implementing the defense strategy before the judicial court. Our legal expertise in professional elections significantly reduces dispute risks.
